Booking Policies

Payment Policy:

Our booking terms require a 50% deposit to confirm your booking and remaining 50% payable 45 days prior to arrival. For all direct  bookings paid in full prior to March 31 2021, we will offer you a 5% discount off the rates listed above. A credit card surcharge of 0.93% applies to all credit card transactions.


Cancellation Policy: 

Cancellations made up until 45 days prior to arrival date: will receive a full refund less a 15% administration fee (calculated from total booking ).
Cancellations made 45 days or less prior to arrival: No refund of monies paid unless the room is fully relet . If fully relet, a full refund less a 15% administration fee will be provided. 

These policies only apply for direct bookings made through our website or by contacting us directly.

 


Terms & Conditions

By making a booking for accommodation, guests warrant they have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them subject to such changes as are notified to them.

Accommodation

All accommodation is subject to availability.Cooroona Alpine Lodge (Cooroona) will endeavour to provide the accommodation but reserves the right to refuse requests for bookings or actual bookings.

Pets are not allowed.

Rates are per room, per night based on maximum room occupancy.

The number of guests staying in a room shall not exceed the maximum occupancy of the room booked, this number  is inclusive of all infants. Should at any time the number of guests in the apartment exceed the maximum occupancy, Cooroona reserves the right to terminate the reservation immediately, without refund.

Check in

Check in is 4pm. To enable us to make your arrival as easy and comfortable as possible, please let us know if you are arriving later than 9pm to arrange a late check-in.

Check out

Check out is 9:30am. To ensure our housekeeping team can thoroughly clean all rooms as required by DHHS, we are unable to allow any late check outs.

Please leave your room as you found it otherwise an additional cleaning fee may apply. 

Please dispose of all rubbish into the bins provided. 

Please return your door key to reception. A replacement fee of $25 will be charged to the guest should they not be returned. 

Bookings

All direct (online or over the phone) accommodation bookings will only be confirmed once a 50% deposit is paid within 7 days of making the booking. Payments can be made via direct debit or by Credit Card over the phone and incur a 0.93% surcharge. Final payments are due no less than 45 days prior to arrival.

A payment receipt confirmation email must be obtained. If a booking confirmation email is not obtained, the booking is not confirmed.

It is the responsibility of guests to review the booking confirmation email and promptly advise Cooroona if there are any errors or misunderstandings.

By providing credit card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the credit card and they authorise Cooroona to charge any outstanding costs or penalties to their card.

Non-payment within these terms may forfeit your booking. 

 Cancellations

All cancellation requests must be provided in writing to bookings@cooroona.com.au

If the booking is cancelled more than 45 days before arrival, Cooroona will refund the total booking value less a cancellation fee of equating to 15% of the total value of the booking.

If the booking is cancelled less than 45 days before arrival, Cooroona will attempt to re-let the booking*.

If successful, Cooroona will refund the booking less a 15% cancellation fee on the total booking value. If Cooroona cannot re-let under the same terms and conditions, the full cost of the unlet accommodation will be charged.

*If the balance of the booking has not been paid, the deposit will not be refunded. 

No refund will be granted where a booking is cancelled 7 days prior to the arrival date or in the event of non-arrival.

Alterations to reservations - moving dates and reduction in stay

All alteration requests to reservations must be provided in writing to bookings@cooroona.com.au

If the booking is more than 45 days before arrival, Cooroona will move the booking, subject to availability with a 5% administration fee. Within 45 days, no changes of date can be accommodated.

We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover the loss of monies paid in the event of having to cancel your reservation.

Please remember that due to our General Liquor licence, all of Cooroona is non-BYO and liquor is not permitted to be brought into the lodge. Please also remember that Cooroona cannot accommodate self-catering within the rooms or general lodge areas and BYO cooking facilities is not permitted.

Cooroona is a non-smoking/vaping facility and we have very sensitive smoke alarms. Smoking anywhere inside the building is strictly forbidden. Any evidence of smoking/vaping in rooms will incur significant cleaning fees to remove the residual odour. 

Cooroona is a politically Neutral establishment. Wearing of politically emotive clothing or the use of politically charged speech will be asked to be removed for the comfort of all guests. Failure to comply will evoke termination of reservations.

Noise Policy

Excessive noise after 10pm will not be tolerated; Cooroona reserves the right to terminate the reservation immediately, without refund. Guests must not create noise which is offensive to neighbours especially between 10pm – 7am and during arrival and departure at any time throughout the occupancy.

Offensive noise is prohibited and may result in:

  1. Termination of permission to occupy the Property;
  2. eviction;
  3. loss of rental paid; and
  4. extra charges for security and expenses which may be deducted from security bond. 

All Customer details are kept private and confidential.

We always do our best to ensure your arrangements are satisfactory. Cooroona Management and employees shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses, accident, delay, changes in accommodation, breakdown in equipment or vehicles, weather, strike, sickness, theft, cancellation or of the foregoing shall likewise not be liable for any injury, damage, loss additional expenses, accident, delay or irregularity, whether to property, person, or otherwise arising in connection with any accommodation or in connection with any vehicle or transport or other services.
