Travelling to Falls Creek
Falls Creek is 4.5 hours (385km) from Melbourne, 7.5 hours (672km) from Sydney and 11 hours (955km) from Adelaide. If you are driving, you are required to carry wheel chains for the journey up the mountain. Chains can be hired in Mount Beauty at the base of the mountain. Please note there is no fuel available at Falls Creek, please be sure to fill up in Mount Beauty (Alpine Diesel is required and available here).

resort Entry
During the declared Snow season, entry to Falls Creek resort requires a resort entry permit which can be purchased from Falls Creek Resort Management. A resort entry permit allow you to drive into resort and park during your stay. We strongly encourage you to pre-book your resort entry by clicking the link below.
If you are traveling by bus, resort entry is included in your bus ticket.

Whether you're a skier or snowboarder, Falls Creek Ski Lifts (Vail Resorts) is your one-stop website to pre-book all of your lift passes and snowsports lessons. It is strongly advised that you pre-book to avoid disappointment. Depending on your length of stay, we also suggest you consider an 'Epic' season pass which allows you to ski Falls Creek, Mt Hotham and Perisher.
